CHUCK - Introduction to Our Reviews

This is the only traditional television show included (so far) on Rom Com Road. CHUCK aired on Monday nights on NBC for five seasons a few years back. You can find it now on DVD or on Amazon Prime. So why include it here on a News & Entertainment website about romantic comedies, romance, and Christmas? Because the two main characters form a couple, in my opinion, that is one of the best love stories ever - whether in literature, on television, or in the movies. And, most importantly, many of the stars of CHUCK are also stars of Rom Com. Zachary Levi (Chuck Bartowski) starred in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie called Remember Sunday. Brandon Routh (Daniel Shaw) starred in a Hallmark Christmas movie (one of my all-time top 5) The Nine Lives of Christmas. Both Ryan McPartlin and Sarah Lancaster (Devon Woodcomb and Ellie Bartowski) have starred in several Lifetime Christmas movies, Hallmark Channel movies, and independent Rom Com films. Since we're all about introducing you to the work of Rom Com stars - CHUCK is the perfect choice for one of our featured blogs.

If you haven't yet watched CHUCK, consider taking the time. I'm starting my blog on Season 2 because that's where I came in on the story when the show originally aired. Yes, I went back and watched the beginning episodes and the first season, but I'm actually glad I came in late. The first few episodes are shot differently than the rest. They're still good and important to the story, but the truth is I may have stopped watching if I had started at the first episode. By Season 2, the characters are so developed and involved, I was hooked the moment I watched. So if you, too, love a love story, please join me in Burbank, CA for the love story of Chuck & Sarah.
