What to Watch this Weekend...11/19-11/21

This may be the best movie weekend of the season so far!! 13 new movies! 13!! Ion and Discovery+ join the fun with their Christmas movie debuts, but the big news is the stars who have premieres!! Honestly, I can't say for which movie I'm most excited. If you follow my blogs, website, or group page you know I'm a huge Nikki DeLoach fan. She's an amazing woman and a fabulous actress. Her movies are some of my most favorite. I will absolutely watch her movie, and I'm sure will love it...but there are some others I'm counting down the moments to as well...

First up is one I have already watched and reviewed "A Kindhearted Christmas" (you can click the photo below to read my Preview Review), premiering on GAC Family Saturday at 8 PM, and it rated a solid Will Watch Again. It's a charming, funny movie with a beautiful Christmas message - I really enjoyed it. Jennie Garth stars with Rom Com Road STAR of the Month Cameron Mathison along with a wonderful supporting cast. I'm watching it live again Saturday night with some friends. Which reminds me - Jen Lilley is hosting a Watch Party Thanksgiving weekend for her premiering movie. THIS is a big one! Hallmark keeps promoting "A Kiss Before Christmas" as a "Desperate Housewives" reunion - which I guess it is. But I am a Teri Hatcher fan from her days with Dean Cain on "Lois & Clark". I LOVE that show, and I think Teri is awesome! The storyline for this movie has already been done. In fact, Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker did a great job of it in "A Dream of Christmas". It's the "It's a Wonderful Life" story turned upside down. The protagonist awakes to find he has everything he wants in life, and nothing he really needs. But the movie could literally be a remake of any movie, word for word - and if it stars Teri Hatcher and is a Rom Com Christmas movie - I'm watching with bells on! (Not to mention I think James is adorable!)

But wait, there's more!!! Rom Com Road favorite Trevor Donovan has his first of two Christmas movies this season (his second will air in December on GAC with Merritt Patterson) and it's called "Nantucket Noel". The interesting part of this movie is he is co-starring with Sarah Power who co-starred on "Good Witch". I'm having a challenging time picturing her as anyone but Abigail, so it will be fun to watch and to see her become someone else. And let's be honest - watching Trevor do anything is fun!

Laura Vandervoort and Niall Matter star in their first movie together this Saturday in "A Christmas Together with You". Promises to be a good movie - Niall never disappoints!

And last, but certainly not least, is a reminder to watch "Every Time a Bill Rings" on Hallmark Movies NOW. I haven't watched the movie yet myself, but it's getting great fan reviews! Erin Cahill stars in the film and produced! Full of great stars - it looks like a great one!

Happy Christmas Rom Com Movie Watching!!
